The Ways to Prevent Oil Casing Pipe Corrosion

Oil casing pipe is the lifeblood to maintain the oil well normal operation. Due to different geological conditions, the down hole stress state is much more complex, and tension, pressure, bending and torsion stress combination act on the api casing pipe. And there are a lot of corrosive substances in the crude oil. So pipe casing is very prone to corrosion during drilling the oil. Then what is the ways to prevent oil casing pipe corrosion?

First of all, pay special attention to the water quality standards, strict check water quality testing and management. Implement clean and dirty water injection; strengthen cleaning work for main water pipeline. So keep the oil station and down hole water quality standard reduce corrosion sources into the annual space.

Secondly, the new water injection well which has been put into operation, adopts adding the sterilization of annulus protection liquid. And form system to injection protection liquid regularly.

Thirdly, in view of the mechanical abrasion of oil casing pipe corrosion acceleration effect, it is suggested on the tubing coupling add a rubber ring or centralizer in serious deviation parts, to avoid oil tubing scratch well casing pipe in the process of operation and water injection.

Aiming at bacteria severe corrosion and high temperature SRB growth slow and kill, it can be inject into the annulus 100 degrees Celsius hot water or steam to kill SRB regularly.

In the end, on the both inside and outside the oil casing pipe walls paints a layer of anti-corrosion coating.
